ENPS Client by The Associated Press is the desktop application for AP’s ENPS newsroom computer system, built to help broadcast, radio, and digital teams plan, write, produce, and deliver news. It brings rundowns, scripts, wires, planning, and collaboration into a single workspace, so producers, reporters, and editors can work together in real time. Through MOS integration, ENPS Client connects to production systems such as video servers, graphics, and automation, helping newsrooms manage content, timing, and on-air status from within the rundown.

Key capabilities include:

  • Rundown creation and timing with live updates
  • Script writing with newsroom-standard formatting and slugs
  • MOS integration for graphics, clip management, and automation status
  • Wire ingest and story discovery, including AP feeds where licensed
  • Planning, assignments, and contacts management
  • Collaboration tools for chat, story sharing, and change tracking
  • Fast search across stories, media links, and archives
  • Customizable templates, fields, and workflows
  • Role-based permissions and audit trails
